Freebies

If you absolutely can't wait until it's time to eat again, have a "freebie." These are foods that are so low in calories that they don't really count. But, they will fill you up if your are uncomfortably hungry.

Some Suggested Freebies (Can be added gratis to any other meal) :

• Cucumbers (spicy or plain)
• Celery (all by its lonesome)
• Dill Pickles (see sidebar)
• Water or Unsweetened 
• Diet Soda and Drinks

TIP: If you crave something sweet, a slightly illegal freebie that MJ succumbed to was raw carrots — which are relatively low in calories, but not low enough to be an official freebie.

NOTE: If you are reasonably strict about this eating schedule, our experience was that the "ohmygodiamsooooohungry" response tapers off after the first few weeks.
